1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Iron Stewards ("we," "us," or "our"), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the United States. These Terms apply to your use of our website, ironstewards.org (the "Site"), and any related services, content, or features we make available (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using any of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and Age Restriction

The Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 and that your use of the Services is in compliance with all applicable laws. If you are under 18, you may not use the Services or provide us with any personal information, including a mobile phone number for SMS communications.

3. Our Content and Your Limited License

All content on the Services, including text, graphics, images, and logos ("Ministry Content") is owned by Iron Stewards or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and view the Ministry Content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works of Ministry Content without our express written permission.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to harass, threaten, or harm any person. You may not use the Services to advertise or solicit for commercial products or services without our consent.

5. SMS / Text Message Communications (A2P 10DLC)

5.1 Program Description

Iron Stewards operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with individuals who have expressly opted in via our website. The program covers the following message types:

• Responses to inquiries submitted through our contact form
• Membership application status updates and next steps
• Event reminders and community gathering announcements
• Ministry-related community updates and resources

Messages are sent only to individuals who have voluntarily provided their mobile phone number and checked the SMS opt-in checkbox on our contact or application forms. Consent is never pre-checked and is never required to submit a form or access our Services.

5.2 Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies based on your activity and the nature of your inquiry or membership. You may receive up to a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

5.3 How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving text messages from Iron Stewards at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You may re-subscribe at any time by replying START.

5.5 Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Mobile carriers (e.g., AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to the effective transmission from your mobile carrier and is outside of Iron Stewards' control.

5.6 No Sharing of Opt-In Data

Your SMS opt-in consent and mobile phone number will not be shared with or sold to any third party for their own marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

6. Donations and Refunds

Donations are solicited with the understanding that Iron Stewards has full discretion and control over the use of all donated funds, consistent with our mission and applicable law. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, donations are non-refundable.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The content provided is for spiritual and educational purposes and does not constitute professional counseling, medical, legal, or financial advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Iron Stewards and its directors, officers, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services. Our total liability for all claims will not exceed $100.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration in Bozeman, Montana.

9. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Iron Stewards regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
